Antique Caucasian Shirvan Kazak rug from the Baku region of the Eastern Caucasus.
Around 1890.
A good example is the Khila long rug with five medallions on a dark blue background. The lockets are made with a classic Khila diamond design. The field is filled with floral rosettes and other tribal motifs. It's nice to use the soft green in two pendants. Wool warp yarn wool pile. It has undergone professional cleaning.
The rug is in excellent condition, it has been used on a wall. There are some very small old repairs. Since the carpet is antique, buy it with this in mind! They can be bald, have holes, or have mistakes!
