Antique Chinese Qing Black Lacquer Side Cabinet

18th or early 19th century, Qing period. The piece having a black gessoed surface with gilt decoration and elaborate stone decorated body. Some losses to gesso and door hing in need of conservation. Original as found condition. H36" W23" D11 1/8" The piece is sold from the collection of Mr. Garnet Watson of Honolulu, Hawaii and was purchased in the 1920s from The Fong Inn Company of Honolulu, Hawaii.
