Antique Copper & Brass Black Gun Powder flask James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, with stylised basket weave and acanthus leaf relief, braided original leather cords attached. All original parts are there. Flask has the makers mark on shoulder. The nipple reads DRAMS and is graduated; the lever moves left and right.

J Dixon & Sons (James Dixon & Sons) founded 1806 in Sheffield, was one of the major British manufacturers in the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century.

Condition: Good, nice patina, some oxidation, soils and dust, a few dings, some leather separation.
