CIRCA: Late 19th - early 20th century
ORIGIN: Probably American
DIMENSIONS: H: 15.25" W: 11" Depth: 9.5"
CONDITION: Crack to wood at back. Minor and moderate chips to wood. Some moderate paint loss. Locks do not function. A component associated with the top lock is partially detached and lacking a screw (the other screw is probably a replacement). A couple of moderate losses to veneers. Writing surface has cracking, heavy gilt loss, and minor leather loss. Abrasions, scratches, and other wear consistent with age and use.
