Overall Condition: Fair
Condition Notes: Each ring is unique and offers its own bit of history. The Arts and Crafts-era ring made by Lebolt & Co. of Chicago features a snake amongst a smattering of funky gemstones. The emerald in the snake head is very chipped. The ring shows one red glass doublet. Other colored gemstones are natural and show abrasions. Both intaglio rings of agate and lapis show scratches and wear on the surface commensurate with normal wear, metal tests 14k. The gold intaglio ring is in excellent condition, high polish finish and marked 18 for 18k. Scarab ring tests 18k, swivels easily to reveal the reverse, showing darkened coloration of scarab's back due to wear, ring size is approximate. The painted portrait ring is that of a child with light brown or red hair...adorable! Image is covered by quartz crystal, shows abrasions and scratches to the surface. Surrounded by rose cut diamonds, missing one rose-cut diamond and one has been replaced by a reverse-set full-cut diamond, metal tests 14k, tarnish seen on reverse.
