Antique Ebonized Wood Tantalus Set

DESCRIPTION: Antique Tantalus set, the case of ebonized wood with metal fittings, a mirror at interior, with two glass decanters and twelve glass cordials (two in one pattern, two in another, similar, pattern, and eight in a third pattern) held atop a removable tray, the case able to fold out.

CONDITION: Lacking key. The decanters and cordials are antique, but some or all are not original to the case. The stopper for the green glass decanter is probably not original to it. The stopper for the colorless glass decanter is matching, but probably not original to that particular decanter. Lacking spoons or other barware. Wear to mirror. Moderate chip to rim of one cordial; moderate chip to foot of the same cordial. Minor chip to rim of another cordial. Flea Bite chip to feet of three other cordials. Flea Bite chips to rims of four other cordials. Abrasions to glass in spots. Cracks to wood. Losses to veneers. Lettering into veneer at top. Abrasions to wood. Oxidation to cartouche at top.
