late 19th century, mahogany and satinwood veneer, deal secondary, two part form, dentil molded cornice, two hinged astragal molded doors with shelved interior, hinged slant front lid with a well detailed interior in satinwood veneers, divided compartments with leather-bound document drawers, inlaid prospect door, leather writing surface, banded inlaid drawers, the case with two over three graduated cock beaded drawers on straight bracket feet.
