Antique English Wood & Brass Campaign Chest

DESCRIPTION: Campaign Chest in two separable segments, each with a handle on either side and brass corners. Lower segment has two large pull out drawers; upper segment has two medium pullout drawers, four small pull out drawers, and one central pullout drawer. Large central drawer folds out into a leather-top writing platform above which is an additional pull-out drawer with a large back compartment and four smaller compartments, one of which has a concave, wooden lid. Leather top of writing platform lifts up in the front to reveal a large compartment and in the back to reveal a second large compartment with a removable series of slots for papers. Each of the nine main drawers has a bronze keyhole; medium and small drawers have a bronze handle, large drawers have two bronze handles. Five keys included, each of which corresponds to each of the locks.
