Antique French Louis XV Style Ornate Leather Top Bureau Plat Desk with Figural Mounts
An elegant French Louis XV style ormolu gilt mounted figural desk crafted from kingwood. The rectangular top inset with a gilt-tooled leather writing panel, fitted with three apron drawers, raised on tapered cabriole legs. On the reverse side are three similar decorative false drawers. On each corner are richly chased bronze mounts of helmeted female maidens, atop cabriole legs.
