French Napoleon III-style Boulle marquetry fold-over card and game table, featuring an ebonized wood finish richly decorated with brass marquetry in repeating foliate and geometric motifs. The shaped apron is embellished with gilt-bronze-style mounts depicting classical female masks and scrolling ornament, continuing to cabriole legs terminating in decorative sabots. The hinged top opens to reveal a red fabric-lined playing surface. Approximate measurements: 28.5 x 35 x 17 inches; top measures approximately 36 x 36 inches when opened.
Condition: Good to fair overall antique condition with age-related surface wear, including scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and areas of loss and lifting to the marquetry and decorative elements. Wear and fading are present to the interior playing surface. Additional wear is present along the edges, legs, and feet, consistent with age and use.
