Antique French Pair of Neoclassical Lamps Protoro

Back in the 1950's, the owners purchased a pair of French Urns made of Portoro marble and heavy ormolu late 1800's. (Stamped Made in France). Sometime in the 60's they decided to transform them into lamps. They had the shades and the installation custom made with shades in almost the same color as the marble.- each stand 21" tall with 3.5" square marble base, around the base and a bit higher, ormolu beautifully fitting the neoclassical style. Ormolu garland surrounding the body of the marble, 2 female figures in bronze on each lamp, delicate handles made of bronze starting from the figure upwards but not touching the body, the neck ends with exquisite ormolu around the neck towards the lamp sockets, each lamp has 2 sockets. Both are in working conditions, 1 lamp missing the pineapple finial. A new pair of finials will cost on eBay no more than $25.
