Antique Gebruder Resch Vienna Pendulum Wall Clock
Gebruder Resch Wall Clock; This revered manufacturer was active between 1862 - 1901 and its clocks are highly sought after. The works are mounted and appear to be complete and the key is included. The face is white enamel. The only hallmarks are on the mechanism reverse, which is how Resch marked his clocks. The case is a buildup of black walnut showing an egg and dart molding with fluted columns. There is much intricate carving. This is a very substantial and beautiful piece. It is in very good condition with the caveat that the mechanism does not function, but should be repairable. The case measures 18" W x 42" H x 8 1/4" D.
