Antique George III Style Slant Slope Flatware Box
An antique wooden inlaid silverware chest. Embodies the style of King George III who ruled England 1760-1820. The upright silverware box interior is set with a grid of openings to accommodate a flatware service for twelve (12). Inlaid banding is found between and surrounding the grid. Exterior of box is crafted in fine wood with banding in complementary exotic woods. Set on ogee bracket feet. Lock is banded with a brass shield. Key is included with box. No apparent makers mark.
Dimensions: 15.25 X 10 X 12 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
