Antique German Art Nouveau Porcelain Plate 1890s RS Prussia

Antique Art Nouveau style porcelain plate / small platter decorated with a bouquet of flowers on greenish and bluish background with golden rim, Reinhold Schlegelmilch porcelain company, mark "R.S. Prussia." This particular porcelain mark was in use 1890s-1918 [until the end of WWI].

The plate is 8.1/2" [21.6cm]; a little gold rim wear, no chips, no hairlines, very good/ fine condition.

Founded by in what is now Suhl, Germany, R.S. Prussia produced ornate and floral porcelain objects for export beginning in the late 1800s. Between two world wars, the company manufactured pieces in a factory in Tillowitz, Germany. After World War II, porcelain bearing the word "Poland" signified yet another change in venue for the R.S. Prussia factory.
