Antique German Sitzendorf Porcelain Urn

DESCRIPTION: Antique Sitzendorf porcelain urn featuring a scene of Cupid spying on two archeresses. Scene is framed in abundant flower and foliage applications and transferred motifs sporting gilt accenting. Urn is crowned with a matching lid topped by a putto bearing a garland and rests on a matching base fashioned with a pierced lattice design on its skirt and floral applications above its feet. Finished with goddesses on the handles. Hallmarked on underside of base.
