DESCRIPTION: Antique porcelain tray by Kinkozan Sobei featuring a gilt accented scene of songbirds perches on the vines in a trellis flanking a small creek. Lip sports ornate butterfly, flower, foliage, and houou (fenghuang/"Chinese phoenix") motifs and underside is marked with the Satsuma mon and gilt kanji for "Kinkozan make".
