Antique 200ct Muttonfat Jadeite 18k Gold Carved Chinese Jade Buddha Wise Man Statue Pendant w/ Asian Provenance Description / HFA VX GA TULO:Now we have this exceptionally large antique pendant that consists of a large, full 3-D figure of a hand carved, bearded Buddha / wise man in near colorless jade. Evidence indicates the figure is much older, and then was later converted into a pendant with the addition of (tested) 18k yellow gold findings / bail. Approx. 200cts of translucent jade in this very tactile & appealing figure that just needs the addition of a chain or cord to wear. Our auction estimate on this piece is 500-1000. Provenance:This is a collectible piece of antique jade that we acquired from a retired Atlanta, Georgia professionalÂ’s collection. The collector acquired them in Asia after WWII.
