Antique Pre-Angkor Style Stone Khmer Sanskrit Stele
An antique pre-Angkor style sanskrit Khmer Stele depicting Nandi. A charming image of a recumbent Nandi on a lotus flower on the Stele surmounts a Sanskrit inscription. The rear of the stele features a lotus flower above additional sanskrit text.
The Stele is similar in style to Catalog Item 1760 at the National Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Loose mounted to a wood base (later).
