Antique Pulley-Tension Crossbow

Antique crossbow featuring a heavy wooden stock, forged steel bow, and an integrated rope-and-pulley tensioning system operated by dual winding cranks. European windlass systems of this design were developed to span heavy steel bows with high draw weights for siege warfare, target shooting, and historical pageantry. The wooden stock displays a dark, aged patina and remains structurally sound with no major or detrimental cracks. Hardware exhibits age-appropriate oxidation across the forged iron pulleys, side plates, and crank assembly. Untested mechanically, but functional in appearance with intact rope winding paths.
