Antique Sharps Model 1A Four-Barrel Pepperbox Derringer chambered in .30 caliber Rimfire. Features 3" refinished blued four-barrel cluster with integral notch rib rear sight and brass bead front sight. Brass frame has been refinished in a silver-tone finish and is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips. Single-action, breech-loading design with rotating firing pin, and spur trigger, a hallmark of the innovative Sharps pepperbox pistols. Stamped "C. SHARPS / PATENT 1859" on the left of the frame and "C. SHARPS & CO. PHILADA PA" on the right. Condition
Retains 82%+ finish on the barrels with a few small areas of scratches and oxidation. Silver finish shows some aged patina areas but no brass visible. Dark bores with light oxidation spots. Great mechanics.
