Antique Shipbuilder's Adzes

First is a ship carpenter's lipped adze, signed "L&I White, Buffalo New York" dated 1837. Overall handle length is 36.5", ax head length from blade to end of poll is 10.75", width of cutting blade is 5.5". Next tool is a shipbuilder's adze with length 29" on original handle, with a makers touchmark that resembles "MI". Length of the head is 10.5", and cutting blade of 4". Last adze is unmarked with original handle definitely from at least the 19th century. Axe head length is 10", and the cutting blade is 3.5". Adze itself is 29.5" long.
Condition: Absence of a condition statement does not imply the lot is in perfect condition, free from flaws, restoration, or the effects of aging. Condition reports can be obtained via email.
