Circa 1870, Piedmont South Carolina. Plank bench having thick one board top with hand hewn legs mortised into the top. Good sturdy condition, nice old surface. L24 3/4" H25" D19" Sold from the collection of a Sumter gentleman. The piece was discovered in the Sumter district of South Carolina many years ago by the current owner's grandfather.
