Antique Sri Lankan Buddha cast in a 15thC style. Probably the 19th century, possibly much earlier. I've never seen one from Sri Lanka cast in this way out of this alloy. It looks like a provincial Buddha made in a village by someone doing their best with the available materials. I do not believe this is a tourist place made to sell to the West.
