This antique Starline double block and tackle pulley (c. 1930s–1940s) is a rugged and functional example of American industrial hardware. The pulley features a heavy-duty hardwood block with a weathered, dark patina and natural age-related character. It is reinforced by a robust forged iron frame (strapping) that houses dual cast-iron sheaves (wheels). The unit is topped with a massive, integrated forged iron hook designed for heavy lifting in agricultural or maritime settings. The piece is marked with the firm's hallmark: an 'S' within a diamond shape.
