Antique Sterling Silver Heraldic Fob / Pendant – Birmingham Hallmarked. Attractive late Victorian / Edwardian sterling silver heraldic fob or pendant with gilt-highlight shield decoration and decorative scrollwork. Hallmarked to the reverse with Birmingham assay mark, date letter and maker’s mark “R.P”. Likely originally intended as a watch fob, presentation mount or society/sporting award piece. Unengraved central banners and shield. A pleasing small piece of period silver with good antique character and wear consistent with age. Approximate date: c.1904–1905.
