Antique Sterling Silver Necklace Circa. 1920 American Hand-made sterling necklace with hollow stering squares. Each square hand-chased (carved) with alligator skin motif on one side and copper hand-stamped motif on the other. Sterling silver toggle catch is new. Each link is soldered close, so nothing will snag on your clothing. Marked "sterling - W. Lewis" on edge of one square. The necklace is 26 inches long. The 9 squares measure 5/8" x 5/8" 57.1 gr. 36.7 dwt. This is a one-of-a-kind fabulous find!
