Here is a nice older traditional Sterling Silver "Pyx" as shown
Makes a great gift to any priest or seminarian
The pyx is sterling silver and is marked on the post near the clasp
Clasp and hinge are in good working order
1 7/8" diameter, 5/8" depth
IHS surrounded by leaves engraved on the top
It appears it was, at one time gold plated on the outside but now the plating is very worn from use
The pyx also shows several small dents on the top and the bottom
