Antique Third Quarter 19th Century Hand Quilted Cotton Petticoat. This antique white cotton hand quilted winter petticoat features cotton batting sandwiched between white cotton and quilted in a mix of cross hatched, horizontal lines, cable, and feather motifs with pleats at the waist and a single mother of pearl button closure. The petticoat is trimmed in hand crocheted lace in a Greek key motif with a scalloped edge. Laying flat the petticoat measures: waist 16'', length 35.5'' long, the petticoat is in very good condition with only a few faint spots and light yellowing to the hand crocheted trim.
