Rare conductor's logbook for The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad (also known as the DL&W or Lackawanna Railroad). The Civil War era log book spans between 1852 to 1875 with some years missing. Log contains train movements, stops and what was transported, some records were printed and others are a day by day, hand written accounting. Also in the logbook are letters from the Superintendent's office with general orders and changes to protocols.
