This antique vellum land indenture is dated 1654 and is signed by four individuals. One wax seal remains intact. The contract appears to name Thomas Hettyplacce the Elder, Thomas Hettyplace the Younger, Thomas Marnford, his wife Mary, and Samuel Gunoh. The names Hugh Backer, Winchester, and Peter Bourgoin appear on the back of the contract.
The piece measures approximately 26.5" x 26.5".
