Antique Wilhelm Schiller & Son (WSS) Faience Vase

Antique WSS Faience Vase Circa. 1910 Austria

Tall vase with (2) stylized scarabs in a plum glaze tile motif. Top tiles are gold and green. The remainder of the vase is a blue. Beautiful blue background glaze.

The vase has two hairline cracks, both emanating from the top and ending at the scarabs. Both are hard to notice. (See last two photos for damage illustration)

The vase is marked on the bottom "WSS" and "17060" Makers' mark and the production number. Wilhelm Schiller & Son was in business from 1885 through 1913.

Vase measures 10 1/2 inches in height. 6 inches in diameter at its widest Top diameter is 3 1/4 inches. Bottom diameter measures 4 inches.
