Antique asparagus scoop with richly crafted silver handle in a case - .800 silver - Germany - about 1890

Antique asparagus scoop, the handle is made of silver with a rich decor, on which a beautiful silver plated openwork scoop. Dated ca. 1890. It comes in a matching case which is beautifully lined with green silk. The handle is marked and made of silver 800 and is of course provided with the further relevant silver hallmarks, German origin. . . . the crescent and crown and makers maker, but is no longer clearly recognizable due to old age. The scoop part is silver plated. The entire length: 26. 5 cm. Dimensions scoop 9. 7 cm. x 9. 2 cm. Gross weight of the scoop: 151 g. Dimensions case 29 cm. x 14 cm. The scoop has some silver loss in the middle and remainder is in a good, beautiful condition. The case has some signs of wear on the exterior, remainder is fine. Will be packaged well and with care.
