Antique c. 1915 Peters and Reed Art Pottery Marbleized and Hexagonal Multicolor Drip Glaze 9.5" Vase

Arts & Crafts / Mission style featuring structured, paneled hexagonal geometry juxtaposed with fluid, organic glazing. Commonly associated with their Shadow Ware or marbleized lines, which utilized freehand drip glaze applications of blues, greens, tans, or browns over a base coat under a high-gloss finish. Because of the freehand dripping technique, no two vases are exactly alike. Most early Peters and Reed pieces from this era were unmarked.
