Condition Report: Unlined canvas. Faint brownish smudge in lower left corner. Small dash of loss to the skirt of the woman with child at left, approximately 4-inches up from lower edge. Small vertical dash of brown accretion in center of lower edge. Some minor scuffing in upper right quadrant. Pigment separation to dark purplexblack tones.
Under UV: apparent strengthening applied to darkest tones. Some modern pigments, particularly the whites and light- to mid-tone greys, fluoresce.
