Embossed stamp of the ‘Succession Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’. Size: 50 x 40 cm, signed in the plate these are printed on a pure cloth paper that gives them an exceptional velvety. Printed in Paris on the presses of the Art Lithographies workshop for Editions Michel de Seguins. Condition: In mint condition, unframed. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, born on June 29th, 1900 in Lyon and who died in flight at sea off the coast of Marseille on July 31st, 1944, died for France, was a French writer, poet, aviator and reporter. From 1932 onwards Saint-Exupéry devoted himself to journalism and air raids. His international reporting from Vietnam in 1934, Moscow in 1935, and Spain in 1936, influenced his reflections on humanistic values. ‘Terre des hommes’, published in 1939, received the Grand Prix of the Académie Française.
