A silver art deco inkwell by the Danish court jeweler Anton Michelsen. In very good condition. Marked A. Michelsen 835M and on the inside with a crown above Michelsen 830S.

Over the past 50 years, our father has amassed a very diverse and one of the largest collection of inkwells and inkstands in the Netherlands. This ranges from a simple glass inkwell to very beautifully decorated silver, pewter, brass and porcelain ink sets. From the 17th to the 20th century and from Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Jugendstil and everything in between.
