19th Century hand crafted English Victorian Silver plate footed desk caddy/ inkwell. Made of wood with a pull out drawer, silver plate claw feet, silver plated caddy cover and desk items, including a center chamber candle holder with attached Snuffer, and two canisters. Chamber candle holder not affixed to caddy, canisters has a slightly bent rim. One has 3 holes for plumes and top twists off., The other has a large center hole, unable to twist off cap. Currently modernized to hold paper clips. Potentially has a glass insert for ink., Additional places for plumes or ink pens. Lacking a couple of screws to secure the feet. Caddy itself measures 11 x 9 in. Height 3 in.
