Apache Nation Hand Woven Trinket Basket c. 1920s

Featured in this lot is this Apache Nation hand woven trinket basket circa 1920's. The trinket basket is wonderfully and professionally crafted with a tight weave that shows polychrome coloration with dark almost lacquer look with diamond patterns traditionally used in Native Apache basketry. The basket is lidded and in the sape of a traditional trinket box. The condition of this lidded basket is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this lidded basket is 3" x 8 1/4" x 8 1/4". The collective weight of this lidded basket is 8oz.
