A "Type Three" insurance cover signed by Apollo 11 crew members Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Measuring 6.5" x 3.75", postmarked from Kennedy Space Center, dated July 16, 1969. Signed in blue ink "Michael Collins", "Neil Armstrong", and "Buzz Aldrin." The cover features the Apollo 11 mission insignia and an Apollo 8 six-cent stamp. Apollo 11 was the first mission for which NASA produced insurance covers for the families of the astronauts, with three different types (of which this is type three). Near fine condition with bold signatures.
