Apollo 11 Rope by Don Eyles Assembly Listing

[ translate ]

Thick original printout of the assembly listing for AP11ROPE (essentially identical to LUMINARY 1A, Revision 99) containing the LM computer source code for the Apollo 11 mission, 1758 pages, held within a contemporary 12.25? x 15.25? x 6? binder. The first page is headed, "GAP: Assemble Revision 001 of AGC Program AP11ROPE by Eyles, 3:15 Dec. 2, 1970, (Main)," noting: "This LGC program is intended for use in the LM during the manned lunar landing mission or any subset thereof. The details of implementation are specified in Report R-567, as amended…This program is referred to as LUMINARY 1A." Annotated "AP11ROPE" on the edge.
Several of the 'Easter eggs' in the source code have been flagged, including a quote from Shakespeare's Henry VI ("It will be proved to thy face that thou hast men about thee that usually talk of a noun and a verb, and such abominable words as no Christian ear can endure to hear") and the "Burnbaby" routine, as are the programs for throttle control, guidance, and the lunar landing sequence. In very good to fine condition, with heavy staining and edge splits to the covers, and some minor creasing and paper loss to page edges.
Format: Assembly Code Printout
