Quaestiones de Duodecim Quodlibet, 227 unnumbered leaves only, of 232 (lacking final blank), Gothic type, 34 lines of text plus headline, large woodcut flourishing initials at the beginning of each chapter and numerous small ones, broad margins slightly foxed in throughout, some scattered marginal water staining, more evident at extremities, some dust soiling, thumbing, and marking, traces of worming in first 30 leaves, minor tearing, modern reinforcement to first and last leaf, lacking free endpapers, modern pastedowns, early inscription reading “Ulmo 1475/Sancta Maria Succurre" to head of first leaf, page numbers provided in manuscript, contemporary German calf, over strong shaped wooden boards tooled in blind, with panel design and floral motif, slight marginal traces of gilding on upper cover, 2 brass clasps decorated with lettering and initials ‘FB’ at rear, spine in compartments, slightly rubbed, rebacked, [Goff T185; HC 1403; BMC ii 524; BSB-Ink T-251; Bod-inc T-146; GW M46338; Grosjean & O'Connell 110], folio (290 x 200mm), Ulm, Johann Zainer, 1475.

***Printed by Ulm first printing shop. The work, first released in 1470, contains a collection of treatises regarding issues on ecclesiastical and mundane life. This edition was presumably produced for the Ulm Dominicans, who had commissioned Zainer other works [Amelung, Fruhdruck, p. 19].
