The Kagan family collection of Art Nouveau metalware, including the present lot, was originally displayed in a Kagan-designed vitrine in the living room of their Park Avenue apartment.

Overall very good, with light to moderate surface wear commensurate with age and use, including scuffs, scratches, and wear to edges; the Veasey barrel body with splits to the top of two corners, one 7/8 in. and one 1/2 in.; side walls slightly dented outward; the Knox barrel with similar overall wear and scattered small impressions to the body.
