Hammer
£160
Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co, a pair of Tudric model 0222 pewter candlesticks, early 20th century circa 1900, the bullet form sconces raised on tapering four prong supports, each stamped 'Made In England', 'English Pewter' and model number to base, 9.5cm high (2)
More Information
One candlestick shows a slight distortion to the sconce, which is not quite level. As a result a candle placed in the sconce is unlikely to sit vertically. The same stick shows a split to the sconce rim, possibly a casting fault. Both sticks show some tarnishing, particularly to the bases. Neither base sits perfectly flat.
