Four Steel Balconies with Liberty Style Cast Iron Decoration and Brindolo
Southern Italy First Decade of 1900

These underbalconies come from the demolition of an old stately building located in Sicily and finished building in the first decade of the 1900s.
They fully reflect the Art Nouveau style that was very popular at the time, they are characterized by a double-shaped solid steel girder, the cast iron decoration is of the phytomorphic type with large scrolls of acanthus leaves, buds and pods.
The end is characterized by Cast Iron Brindolo with Cimasa and Pods.
An example and testimony of skilled craftsmanship, the artefacts in question have been preserved over time in excellent conditions. In original patina and never reworked, they do not present any type of significant lack or breakage and what is most relevant is the fact that they were extracted from the walls with the anchoring or fixing tail intact without being damaged or improperly cut cleanly.
Difficult to find on the antiques market, also due to their perfect maintenance conditions, today they can be appreciated and used to adorn balconies, as supports for external sheds, as supports for mezzanines inside lofts, as supports for sinks outside of villas and as simple ornamental elements as they are suitable for any type of furnishing.
