London: Tilt and Bogue [and] Effingham Wilson, [1836]-1842. 3 vols, tall 8vo, with 181 engraved plates including the three additional engraved titles (all present as per list). 2 works bound uniformly by Tout in 4 volumes, early 1/2 morocco over marbled boards, with marbled endpapers, and top edges in gilt. BOTH IMPRESSIVE WORKS, LAVISHLY ILLUSTRATED WITH plans and views of cathedrals. All plates retain their original tissue guards.
Condition Report: Bindings with wear, scuffs but professionally preserved, restored and polished (ready for the shelf or display.) Contents are quite clean overall with only some occasional foxing. There are a few instances of faded marginal early ink notations. Overall, the contents appear mostly untouched. A well-preserved set.
