Armand Nicolet is a Swiss luxury brand known for their use of restored vintage movements. In this particular piece is the hand-wound movement AN 0711S, which is an original UT600 movement from 1957, updated to more modern specifications for timekeeping and robustness. It retains its vintage charm thanks to its manual winding and the "sapphire sandwich", ie being able to view the movement both through the dial and on the case back. The movement has a power reserve of 36 hours, 18 jewels and a frequency of 18,000 A/h. The case is steel with a diameter of 43 mm (case width without crown) , relatively thin case height of 10 mm, paired with a silver dial.
