Armando GENTILLI (1909-1981) “Young woman with a hat”, oil on canvas, European painting, 20th С. Armando Angelo Gentilini (1909-1981) was an Italian / French painter. He is the son of the sculptor Angelo Gentilini. He began very early to draw and help his father in his sculpture works. In 1931 he exhibited in Berlin two paintings. A nude and a woman with a mask. The paintings were highly appreciated. He settled down in Montmartre, where he did several portraits, especially of women and children.
