Splendid Louis XVI armchair in stripped wood and upholstered with astrakhan leather. It presents a fabulous carving based on infinite chains, which runs through its entire structure, thus emphasizing its elegant shapes. However, what draws the most attention are the two large bows present on the crest and the skirt; as well as the straight legs in the purest Louis XVI style. These legs imitate the columns of classical architecture thanks to the grooves, they also have a square pillar at the top that connects it to the structure of the chair. The astrakhan leather, for its part, adds a sumptuous touch to the chair thanks to the highly shiny pile. This skin comes from a suckling lamb of the Karakul breed, native to the Russian city of Astrakhan located on the banks of the Volga River.
