The Fritz Hansen series 7 butterfly chair, varnished, was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955 and has become an absolute design classic. This is due to its timeless design, but also due to the way in which the chair was constructed. Just like with the Ant Chair the seat is made of curved veneer, which was very special at the time.
