Arne Tidemand Ruud - A.S Inventar - Pair of armchairs - Holmenkollen

Singular and rare pair of armchairs by the Norwegian designer from the 1950s. Made of teak and covered with solid thick leather, they are complemented by cushions in fabric typical of the time. The streamlined and slender line is accentuated by a slide mechanism with which the inclination of the seat can be adjusted in two positions for perfect relaxation. The armchairs are in perfect condition, completely restored, they are solid and functional. The leather was made on request by the tannery specifically in the same colour as the original leather. The fabric was ordered just like the original. The teak wood structure is perfectly restored. During the restoration, the part of the original leather that bore the production mark was kept. (The last two photos show the armchairs in their original condition before the restoration) . Dimensions: height 78 cm, width 70 cm, depth 100 cm.
